Brandy Butter is traditionally an English accompaniment adopted by Australians who love to add a sense of occasion to pudding time. It is extra thick and designed to be spooned over your Christmas Pudding after it has been warmed. As it melts through the pudding, it adds another level of buttery richness to our traditional Christmas puddings and logs. Brandy butter is also excellent on waffles, pancakes and raisin toast. Try adding a little to a fry pan and gently warm slices of your leftover pudding.

Not the fabulous sauce it once was

Unfortunately the recipe has changed from previous years. It is no longer the fabulous sauce it was. All the family noticed - especially the children who were holding out for this! If the recipe change is cost driven, I would pay more for the product to have the old recipe back.
