Brandy Butter is traditionally an English accompaniment adopted by Australians who love to add a sense of occasion to pudding time. It is extra thick and designed to be spooned over your Christmas Pudding after it has been warmed. As it melts through the pudding, it adds another level of buttery richness to our traditional Christmas puddings and logs. Brandy butter is also excellent on waffles, pancakes and raisin toast. Try adding a little to a fry pan and gently warm slices of your leftover pudding.

Is it too soon to open?

I have been eating this with a teaspoon ~ a few dips each day..... now there is only half a jar left and a month until Christmas!

It is delicious, creamy, caramelly and a definite punch of rum flavour ~ I don't trust myself to buy more and still have some for the big day ~but I'm going to try!
