Brandy Butter is traditionally an English accompaniment adopted by Australians who love to add a sense of occasion to pudding time. It is extra thick and designed to be spooned over your Christmas Pudding after it has been warmed. As it melts through the pudding, it adds another level of buttery richness to our traditional Christmas puddings and logs. Brandy butter is also excellent on waffles, pancakes and raisin toast. Try adding a little to a fry pan and gently warm slices of your leftover pudding.

Initially I thought wow it’s rich but then really enjoyed it. It’s not something you eat a big serving of. It’s rich and full of taste and a little goes a long way. Made perfectly as a Christmas pudding should be.
