Australia's most prestigious Fine Food event, the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show, has awarded the Gold Medal to the Premium Vintage Christmas Pudding from Newcastle's Pudding Lady. Made with Australian fruit, Australian brandy, butter, flour and breadcrumbs, this premium Christmas Pudding took the honour at the 2009 Show.

There is so much tradition that goes with a family pudding and PREMIUM VINTAGE embraces all of them.  This pudding is always our first production of each season.  By steeping premium Australian dried fruits in Australian Brandy and Australian Rum for an extended time, we are able to get that mellowness and depth of flavour that Gran's home made Christmas pudding was so famous for.  It's easy to see why the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show judges were impressed.
